Who we are

K&L Services empowers its partners to serve Canadians by providing high-quality professional services to support critical government functions. Although K&L Services began by providing technical services in defence procurement projects within the National Capital Region, we are expanding our solutions to include other fields of expertise and in time, other regions. We are a small, family-oriented business that focuses on the quality and sustainability of its services contracts. Our highest priority is to treat people well.

Meet the Team

John joined the Canadian Air Force in 1982 as a Radar Systems Technician. Over the next 29 years, he served with several Squadrons and completed 2 Sea Tours s a member of the HELAIRDET on HMCS Nipigon, Fraser, Fredericton, and Iroquois. He also worked at the Canadian Air Force Warfare Centre (CFAWC) in Trenton and the Joint Personnel Support Unit (JPSU) in Ottawa (as an ill and injured case worker). Additionally, he deployed to Djibouti, Africa (Operation Preserve), and the Persian Gulf (Operation Apollo). He has since worked in various ADM/Mat positions as a Life Cycle Materiel Manager (LCMM), including the CP140 Aurora WSM, Electronic Warfare and flight simulators.

Michel joined the Collège Militaire Royal (CMR) de St-Jean in 1989, where he later earned a bachelor in Space Sciences. He served as an Air Navigator (ANAV) on the CH124 Sea King Helicopter, and deployed in 1998 on Her Majesty’s Canadian Ship Ottawa to enforce the United Nations Resolutions against Iraq (Oil Embargo). As he was completing his Masters Degree in Optical Sciences from the University of Arizona, Michel transferred to the Aerospace Engineer (AERE) trade. He has since worked in various project offices to procure airborne cameras, lasers and then specialized in flight simulators.
